What they often want is relief—less emotional intensity, more clarity, better follow-through, and a stronger sense of control over their lives. They want to understand why things feel harder than they “should,” and they want practical tools that actually work in daily life, not just insight.
I help clients get there by combining a collaborative, grounded therapy style with evidence-based approaches tailored to each person’s needs. I am a Licensed Social Worker with over 9 years of experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, child welfare, and outpatient therapy. I hold a Master of Social Work degree from Arizona State University.
A core part of my work is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which I use to help clients process distressing or overwhelming experiences that continue to affect their emotions, beliefs about themselves, and current functioning. EMDR can be especially helpful when talk therapy alone hasn’t been enough to create lasting change.
I also work with ADHD in adults, focusing on challenges such as distractibility, executive functioning difficulties, emotional dysregulation, procrastination, and the shame or frustration that can come from feeling “behind” or inconsistent. My approach includes both practical skill-building and a strengths-based understanding of how ADHD shows up in real life.
In addition to EMDR, I draw from cognitive-behavioral strategies, strengths-based therapy, and solution-focused interventions. I aim to help clients not only understand themselves more deeply, but also build tools that make day-to-day life feel more manageable.
Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and focused on real change. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or tired of trying to manage everything on your own, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I’d be glad to support you in building a clearer, steadier, and more workable path forward.
